About the Item
Unusual Leather Helmet.
A very unusual leather helmet with padded protection. The hard leather shell is stitched together and has ventilation holes in the top. There is padded protection bars, one all around the circumference, a small one for the forehead and a larger one for the neck. There is a thin leather chin strap and further padding by the front of the ear. The interior fitted with adjustable leather scull cap, underneath the leather shell are metal strengthening straps. Very unusual half bowl helmet, could be aviation, motorcycle or safety, really difficult to tell.
A very good helmet in used condition but in great condition, a fantastic piece with approximately 59 cm internal circumference.
