About the Item
Hickory Golf Club by John Gray of Prestwick.
A smooth faced lofting iron by the Prestwick clubmaker, John Gray. The heavy weighted hickory shafted iron with leather sheep skin grip, the back of the iron club head has the name stamp 'Jn. Gray', Jn is not readable. The patina of the metal head is very attractive. Gray's clubs either lofter, cleek or track iron are scarce and therefore very collectable.
The measurements shown are the length of the shaft with hosel and the width and depth of the face.
