About the Item
Malloch's Japanned Fly Tin.
A good, black japanned swing leaf fly box by Malloch of Perth. The cream interior of this fly box is with 4 boards and a cast compartment. Two of the boards are fitted with metal back-plates for flies, seven plates in total (two covered in foam strips) that will hold a total of 40 flies. The other two boards have been covered with corrugated card to hold smaller trout flies. There are a total of just over 100 flies but mainly for trout within this nice Malloch's fly box. The flies with their strong colourful feathers have an aesthetic appeal, ideal for any collection. The lid with nickel plate 'Malloch's Patent No. 13561'.
