About the Item
Boxed Jaques Brass-Bound Croquet Set.
A high-quality John Jaques garden croquet set with brass-bound mallets, complete with its original painted pine box, stencilled in white with "Jaques, Croquet, London". The set includes four brass-bound croquet mallets with alignment lines and octagonal ash handles, designed to help players feel correct alignment during play. The handles feature traditional black and white cord grips. Each mallet head is stamped "Jaques, London," with the faces scored with concentric rings to assist in playing stop shots and follow-through roll shots.
Also included are four "Eclipse" coloured balls in the standard croquet colours, six bent metal hoops, one winning post, eight yard-line pegs for marking the court, four metal pegs with coloured flags, four coloured sprung clips, and a wooden mallet.
A wonderful and complete set to grace any lawn.
The dimensions shown refer to the pine box; the mallets measure 96 cm in length.
