About the Item
Deer Lodge Prison horsehair bridle with flat cheek, nose, and brow bands. Glass rosettes with running horses on browband and dog heads on noseband. Four candy-striped round headbands attached with kangaroo leather and a celluloid ring. Knots and tassels. Reins are of braided kangaroo leather with many knots. Four foot reins and three foot attached quirt. Nondescript prison bit.
