About the Item

Golf print 'The Royal and Ancient' after Dendy Sadler. A good oak framed artist proof golf etching by James Dobie after the painting by Dendy Sadler. The picture depicts a Scottish gentleman at his kitchen table cleaning some golf clubs, amongst them are some long nose woods. Signed in pencil in the margin by both Sadler and Dobie, with a Remarque of a golf bag to the center. The picture is in original condition with paper title label to the rear of the frame. Copyright 1914 by L.H. Lefevre Son in U.S.A. London published 1914 by L.H.Lefevre Son.1a King St. St. James' S.W the proprietors of the copyright. Printed by J.Brooker Co.
