About the Item
Vintage Hardy Landing Net.
A good salmon fishing landing net made by Hardy's of Alnwick. The triangular shaped net has wooden arms with added metal bars for extra strength and brass fittings. The brass stamped 'Hardy's Patent'. The head of the net is fixed with a good string net and leather thong. The long bamboo shaft does not have the Hardy name on it and is not original to the net. To use the net the net arms are thrown over and are locked in place, ready to land the fish.
