Vintage Alloy Hardy Uniqua Trout Fishing Reel.
A good lightweight alloy 'Uniqua' 3 ½" fly fishing reel by Hardy Bros. Ltd. Alnwick, England. The alloy centerpin, revolving plate, single white handle fly reel with alloy foot and with double check mechanism. It has a nickle silver telephone shaped drum latch, enabling the easy removal of the drum with no tools involved. The reel is in good original condition. Stamped on the back plate ' Hardy Bros. Ltd. Alnwick, Patent Uniqua Reel, Size 3 ½" '. Internally stamped 'B1, Hardy's PAT No. 24245'.
Shown depth of the reel is 5 cm without the handle, handle is an extra 1.8 cm.
