Well over five hundred pages, 47 full-page-plates in black and white and colour (all original lithographs and colourful chromolithograph plates) also several illustrations within the text. Large format hardback book, leather corners and spine, gilt title to spine 'Modern Farriery', all page edges marbled. Internally it is very clean and bright, cover rather worn, cloth cover to the rear with tear.
