About the Item

A rare shooting photogravure of a female subject by Arthur Wardle. As well as being unusual to have a female subject it is also an unusual portrait. It is framed and mounted in a modern wooden frame. The feminine shooting picture is signed by the artist and printed in the top margin 'Published Sept. First 1893 by Radtke, Lauckner Co., 6, East 18th St. New York, entered according to act of congress in the year 1893 in the office of the librarian of congress at Washington'.
