HISTORY
I am selling my entire bike collection which comprises of around 30 bikes, all luxury high end pieces, there are Colnagos, Cervelo’s, Lemon’s, Specialized, with Carbon Titanium or Columbus steel frames and some of the most expensive parts in the world, there are also some frames, again Titanium and Colnago, Bianchi etc, some wheels Zipp 303’s, Campaganolo Hyperion carbons etc, and then a few parts. I also have a NOS in the case Dura Ace 25th Anniversary groupset. These are all that is left over from my bike shop, I have kept them for years hanging around my furniture workshop as pieces of art and to remember the good old days, my new warehouse doesn’t have the same hanging space so these all need to go!
DESCRIPTION
This bike is a A TJ Cyles Flying Gate, the frame is Reynolds 653 and it has the offset seat tube, I had always wanted one of these, it is a dream purchase. This bike came to me with a few other bikes all around the same size, they were mostly all high end Reynolds frames, theres one Litespeed titanium and various cafe bikes as well, this is the highlight of the bunch
SPECIFICATION
FRAME FORKS
HEADSET:- Reynolds 653 steel, top tube 50cm C-T-C, seat post tube 44.5cm C-T-C, 45.5cm C-T-T head tube 83mm
WHEELSET:- Chrome Hunt Tubeless ready Sprint Aero wheelset with Shimano 105 ten speed cassette and Continental 5000 TL tyres
GROUPSET:- Chainset 160mm crank arms, 28-44t chainrings by Spa Cycles, Front mech, Rear mech, Shifters all Shimano 105, the Calipers are Shimano and the headset is sealed bearing
BARS STEM SADDLE
SEATPOST:- handlebars Dajia Cycle 420mm, Stem unbranded 70mm, Seatpost Uno Kalloy, Saddle Brooks Ladies Standard B.17s
CONDITION PLEASE READ
All these bikes have sat unused for some time, I only ever rode the Specialized Tarmac Pro personally, all other pieces were bought solely for there collectability and rarity, each bike has been fully deep cleaned from top to bottom, they have not been serviced and have sat unused for some time. As such they may require a service or check-up before riding, they may need the odd tweak here or there, they may need new break and gear cables, wheels truing and so on, any good bike shop can give them a once over for a small fee
For this Flying Gate it seems pretty tight, everything seems to be running the way it should, the only point to note condition wise that I can see is there is long thin scrape on the top tube left side, its pictured, otherwise the frame is mint
This bike has some light patina marks here and there in the form of the odd tiny bit of cable rub or odd chip
