About the Item
This is a very unique and one of a kind item; consisting of a Custom Made Hand Crafted Leather Designer Golf Bag, in Western Motif; all hand tool and dyed. Images consisting of Native American Indians; Cactus, and a mythological winged subject on the front panel. See the many images illustrated in the listing, which includes a highly decorated rain cover at the top of the bag which snaps and zippers into place.
There are two (side by side) zippered ball compartments at the bottom rear; a "small item" bag (golf t's etc) at the top; a sweater/jacket zippered compartment on the vertical. All of the zippers are made by Arrow. There seems to be an opening on the side for an umbrella. There are also four numbered 1 thru 4 matching leather head covers, monogrammed "Robt. F. Craig"; and a Kenneth Smith leather "putter cover" with signature (see image). The leather and workmanship are top of the line; having been designed by early 20th century well known golf club and golf bag maker from Kansas City, Missouri; Kenneth Smith.
Kenneth Smith, born in 1901, was world famous for the fine quality golf products he manufactured; having made clubs and bags for the likes of Bob Hope, Mickey Mantle, Bing Crosby and Richard Nixon, along with several foreign dignitaries until his death in 1977.
The condition is excellent (almost new) having never been used. I purchased in an estate sale in 2013 of "Robt. F. Craig". Craig lived in Oregon; graduated from the University of Oregon where he played football and track; after which he became an avid golfer.

Doorstop "Golfer" by Hubley, circa 1920
By Hubley Manufacturing Company 2
Located in Incline Village, NV
This doorstop, also known as "Overhead Swinging Golfer," is more difficult to find than it's "Putting Golfer" counterpart doorstop; which is also made by Hubley.
Manufactured by the Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1920, this cast iron doorstop is in outstanding all original bright paint with no touch up or restoration of any kind, and in wonderful patina. It depicts an older, grey haired man, with typical knicker golf garb, taking a wild swing at a golf ball resting on the grass. It has a semi "hollow" rear with a "238" factory marking, indicating that it is, in fact, by Hubley and original.
It is noted in Jeanne Bertoia's 1985 book on doorstops page 60; and referenced on page 211 of the Smith book on doorstops.
A must for the doorstop or golfing memorabilia...

George Bussey Automaton Caddie Golf Bag
Located in Oxfordshire, GB
Antique Caddie Golf Bag, George Bussey Automaton Caddie.
A wonderful example of an early auto caddy by George Bussey. This is a rare find indeed as very few of these bags have survived, and they are difficult to obtain. The caddie has a boxwood carry handle and the main body of the caddie is made of mahogany. The boxwood handle is attached to the oak legs via metal rods and a brass mechanism. With this clever design the legs will open out automatically when the lower end is placed on the ground, they will then fold back in when lifted up. The canvas & leather bag for golf balls and the half pencil bag to the bottom of the stand are the original bags (flap is a replacement). The caddie stand is stamped with Bussey's name on the brass mechanism, and on both legs. There is a brass embossed trade label "Geo. Bussey & Co., London (with the Bussey arrow logo)' pinned onto the caddie bag...
