About the Item

A very beautifully filled sketchbook published by Rooke Co of London, of dried and preserved sea weeds with hand penned species. 10 pages all full with multiple specimens, with one page showing a few extra on its behind. Lots of browning and foxing to the paper, some areas of loss with a hand full of the dried seaweeds, this leaving a very beautifully scare like impression on the page . Mid 19th century in age, when closed 22/27/1cm
