A early 20th century polypore fungi specimen These masked also know as 'fog eaters' originate from the Nepalese mountains, carved from a dried polypore fungus also known as bracket fungi, and would have hung outside of properties in primitive villages to ward off evil spirits. 24cm in width 17cm in height 10cm in depth
