French Boar’s Head Hunting Trophy
This Large Wild Boar's Head Trophy came from the Perigore region of France
There animals are prized not only for their meat but for the ferocity and courage so for the hunter who bagged this one this was a Trophy indeed
This Hairy Head is mounted on a 1” thick Wooden Shield shaped plaque, it is in good condition complete with teeth, tusks, tongue and beady glass eyes, he is in sound condition, there is slight cracking to the leather around the snout
This is a large head it is sits out 27” from the back of its shield which is 19” from top to bottom and 19” wide
