19th Century Dutch Silver Match Vestas, 1861
Dutch Silver match vesta in octagonal shape with floral and leaf pattern engraved.
Dutch Silver Hallmarked with the "Lion"
The Master mark is faded. The Year letter b for the Year 1861 and the Assayer's mark (office) A for Amsterdam.
Under the match vesta is a a crossed pattern, this is the strike area to light the matches
The round button, when pushed in the lid opens
The old matches are inside and the vesta sows some small dents by use during the age
The dimensions are 6,5 cm high, 3,5 cm wide and the depth is 3,5 cm.
