Located in Hamilton, Ontario
This very unique lighted smoker's stand is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in North America, likely the United States, in approximately 1950 in an Art Deco style. This smoker's stand is done in chromed metal with a streamlined and stylized jet fighter airplane suspended between the cast handle and table top. The base is nicely pierced and decorated with geometric designs and is accented by a molded glass dome light done with marbled colors. The light turns on and off with a switch on the base and the electrical elements have been completely restored. There are some numbers or marking of some type under one wing of the plane, which are likely a model number. This is a very rare and unique model for these airplane ashtray...
