About the Item

Vintage pipe by Finicarto Rome. The bowl is crafted from smooth briar with a warm reddish-brown stain that enhances the natural grain of the wood. Its shape is classic and understated, featuring straight, clean lines that emphasize balance and elegance. The shank carries the stamp “Finicarto ROMA” on one side, while the other bears the designation “SUPER”, indicating a higher-grade line in the series. A metal band reinforces the junction between shank and stem, lending both strength and a refined touch. The stem, made of vulcanite, has oxidized with age, showing the typical greenish patina, yet remains in sound condition. The Finicarto brand is an Italian production, associated with mid-20th-century Roman pipe-making workshops, offering solid craftsmanship with a focus on affordable yet reliable smoking instruments. The “Super” marking likely denotes a premium finish or grade within the Roma line.
