About the Item

A very rare object of the famous Austrian workshop Hagenauer, based in Vienna since the opening in 1898. Objects made by the designers Hagenauer are sought after worldwide and this is a particularly rare and beautiful example of a pipe holder, a pipe tray. Made of pure brass in special quality, the piece is constructed in such a way that it has a star-shaped base, which has been solidly worked, and a filigree, thinner but sturdy bowl in the shape of a pipe as a shell. The famous Hagenauer hallmark is clearly visible on the bottom. Measurements approx: height 1,77 in - 4,5 cm, width 3,54 in - 9 cm, depth 2,48 in - 6,3 cm A rare and wonderful collector's item, an original from the Art Deco period by the Hagenauer workshops.
