About the Item
This vintage combination cigarette case and lighter was made by the well known Ronson's Dominion Art Metal Works division and dates to approximately 1965 and done in the period Mid-Century Modern style. The case and lighter are composed of chrome plated steel with faux tortoise enamelling on the front and back with linear engraved accents. The inside of the case is done with an engine turned fish scale pattern. The case is signed across the hinged support bar, and also on the underside of the lighter. Please note and case is in very sound period condition, and the hinged back and clasp are strong and work as intended. The lighter mechanism is also in good working order, but will require a flint and fluid to make it operational.
