About the Item

Very nice multi-piece smoking set out of solid bronze, made around 1880, in the end of the 19. Century, in Central Europe. The set is consisting of 4 pieces, a serving tray, a tobacco pot with brass insert, a cup for the ashes / igniters and the cigar ends, a cigar / cigarette holder with candlestick. A particularly high-quality finish due to the solid bronze, which has been patinated, and of course the removable brass insert for the tobacco for hygienic reasons. On the underside of the tray is the model number and the maker's mark. Measurements approx.: height 7,87 in - 20 cm, width 13,98 in - 35,5 cm, depth 9,84 in - 25 cm A special feature is that the set has remained complete for over 140 years and still forms a unit. A high-quality object that contributes wonderfully to an upscale ambience.
