About the Item
Gorgeous, very rare tobacco tin in the shape of an owl, made around 1910, most probably in Austria or Bohemia.
The tobacco tin is made of ceramic, in the shape of an owl - the top lid is removable. The object is glazed (also on the inside) and masterfully painted on the outside to convey a particularly natural impression of an owl.
Measurements approx.: height 6,10 in - 15,5 cm, diameter 4,72 in - 12 cm
On the bottom are two numbers 17 - 7 and there is a mark which cannot be assigned,
An extremely rare object, the origin of which is a mystery, but an original from the Art Nouveau period, masterfully shaped and designed. A real collector's item for every elaborate showcase.
