Unusually shaped, Victorian Period, sterling silver-mounted, threaded crystal match striker, Birmingham, England, year-hallmarked for 1899, Levi and Salaman - makers. Measures 2 inches high x 2 inches diameter across base (widest point). Diameter across top of sterling silver mount is 1 1/2 inches and the diameter across the opening itself is just under 1 inch. There are a few minor dints on sterling silver mount (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use). Dark areas in photos are reflections. In good antique condition
