About the Item
This is a model of a warship, a toy that can be wound up and then moves, it was made in the 1920s - 30s in Austria/Germany.
This particularly rare example unfortunately lacks any markings, so the manufacturer is unknown. Many well-known toy manufacturers operated in Austria and southern Germany at that time. The ship is a true-to-life model. It is made of metal, and some parts are finished with red enamel. The warship bears the inscription "Austria" on the bow.
On the side of the toy is a pulley system that can be activated, allowing the ship to move on the three rollers attached to the base.
Measurements approx.: height 4,21 in - 10,7 cm, width 8,27 in - 21 cm, depth 3,23 in - 8,2 cm.
An outstanding piece of nautical military history, a historical toy, a popular collector's item in working order.
