About the Item

Stylish and timeless in their design, these decorous brass bookends hail from the studios of the renowned Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson. One of the bookends is labeled with the 1960s logo of "Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB Markaryd Sweden" and has a typed "L 178". Both bookends are in very good condition with only small signs of their age and use. They would make the ideal gift for an avid reader, bookworm, bibliophile or book collector - you are also allowed to give yourself a present every now and then! Not quite what you are looking for? See our shop for more bookends! Dimensions: Height: 15 cm (5.9 in) Depth: 7 cm (2.8 in) Width: 11 cm (4.3 in) Please note: With a lifetime of stories behind them, our vintage design items come with a bit of character. Like the best of us, they may have picked up some scratches and scuff marks, acquired patina, and that original shine may have faded a little. And like with most of us, the internal struggles are not always visible to the outside world. Our second-hand items may not fulfil state-of-the art safety standards and codes in your region. Inner faults may exist that were missed by us. Please always consult with a certified professional before installing any electrical items.
