A rare and highly decorative pair of French Art Deco bookends, circa 1930.
Depicting an elegant stylized hand holding the four aces of playing cards.
These sculptural bookends are cast in spelter with a finely preserved gilt patina and mounted on solid white marble bases.
The hands are beautifully modeled, with crisp details.
A perfect touch to a bookshelf, desk or library display.
Excellent vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age.
A rare and elegant collectible pair, increasingly difficult to find in such fine condition.
