Goberg , Hugo Berger wrought iron bookends, Germany, circa 1910.
The Goberg brand is derived from the name of the maker Hugo Berger and had a workshop in Germany. He made many objects from wrought iron, such as tobacco boxes, cigar boxes, candlesticks and bookends. These bookends with elephants in Arts and Craft style made of wrought iron and marked tab the side on each bookend. The bookends are in the original patina, used over the years.
The bookends are 18 cm high, 10 cm wide and the depth is 8.5 cm.
