About the Item

Robert Simpson Bookends, Mashie Niblick Wood. A pair of bookends hand crafted from high quality traditional materials with original 1940's club heads. The heads came from the Carnoustie workshop of Robert Simpson when it closed down and have been mounted on to oak bookends with the bases weighted with lead and covered in baize. The bookends come with one wood head and one iron. The persimmon wood head is in a part finished state, the Niblick is stamped with a Simpson's autograph, his RS monogram, Maxwell Mashie Niblick, Special, Carnoustie, warranted hand forged in Scotland. The books are not included and are not for sale.
