About the Item
An impressive and unique pair of petrified wood bookends. This material forms under extraodinary circumstances, such as after a volcano eruption, and creates an extraordinary look. These bookends are not treated at all beyond a surface polish on one side. They were cut from the same piece of material, so they are symmetrical and line up with each other as pictured.
In great vintage and original condition. Slight flaw on one bookend, probably a result of natural formation.
