This pair of Art Deco cast brass and cold-painted bookends are signed by an unknown maker, but presumed to have been made in the United States in approximately 1925. The front faces of the bookends were cast with raised owls on branches that have been cold-painted. The bookends are initialed and possibly dated on the backs in cast letters and numbers.
