About the Item
Fantastic genuine alabaster egg paperweight, hand carved by Ducceschi in Italy, originating from Volterra, a town famous for its alabaster craftsmanship. Solid marbleized alabaster, circa 1980s great look, in nice original condition with one tiny chip toward the base of the item (see photos), otherwise in great condition.
Ducceschi produces a variety of hand-carved alabaster items including decorative eggs, figurines (owls, ladybugs), paperweights, trinket boxes and bookends. Ducceschi pieces are characterized by their genuine alabaster material and hand carved details, often featuring intricate designs and vibrant colors. #9015
