About the Item

A lovely and very unusual expandable bookshelf, made of burled walnut with brass end plates featuring two Wedgwood Jasperware medallions. The end plates fold down when not in use, and the bookshelf expands easily to accommodate the number of books. Accompanied by a matching brass inkwell featuring more Jasperware along the bowl and a medallion on the lid. Both in wonderful condition with no cracks or losses to any of the medallions. A great accent to any desk or library. Inkwell, height 3 1/2 x diameter 7 1/2 inches.
