About the Item
An antique Victorian terrestrial 12-inch table globe by Malby's, dating from the third quarter of the 19th century.
This globe is sold on the understanding its needs full conservation restoration to include repainting missing areas with compatible paints.
It features hand-coloured and engraved gores, with a brass meridian ring and mahogany stand with horizon ring on turned legs united by stretchers.
It bears a cartouche which states:
