About the Item
Antonio Vallardi Terrestrial Globe 30 cm Designed and Engraved by Antonio Minelli made by using the splicing of 18 cardboard segments into two shells joined together and mounted on a turned wooden base with two overlapping, veneered and ebonized discs and two sloping cylinders. On the edge of the base the aluminum label ANTONIO VALLARDI - MILANO - MATERIALE DIDATTICO. While printed in the center of the Indian Ocean GLOBE TERRESTRE of a diameter of 30 cm. designed and engraved by A. Minelli - ANTONIO VALLARDI - EDITORE - MILAN.
The globe is in good condition with nice patina; it has minimal abrasions compatible with the period of the second quarter 20th cent.

For the export from Italy of an art object that is more than 50 years old, a government export license called BELLE ARTI must be applied for. the issuance of such a license takes about 2 to 3 weeks, to be added to the order processing time.
