Berlin. W.57) Maßstab 1 : 26, 600 00. (Scale 1 : 26, 600 00.) Measures: diameter approximate 48cm total height approximate 100cm The relief globe stands on a tripod base on which the "Norddeutsche Lloyd Bremen" is painted flanked by the company logo. The ball is rubbed and there are a few minor flaws - but the loss of text is limited. The paper throws bubbles at the globe, whereby in the lower part (south pole) these are particularly noticeable, likewise there are several jumps. Since the brass suspension (where the scale is located) is skewed and warped, the globe is difficult to turn and the brass bow has left no traces of friction above the equator. To avoid further damage, we left the globe like this - a globe restorer can fix everything professionally. The base shows signs of wear and the writing is slightly rubbed off. For the dating we would like to point out that Africa is still divided into all colonies, the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy and the Empire of China exist, Constantinople (until 1923, afterwards Istanbul).
