About the Item
An outstanding and beautiful crystal gazing ball with stand. The glass is a fine mixture of red and white clouds complete with some natural inclusions that add to the mysterious quality of this object. The tripod stand is cast bronze depicting three monkeys; see no evil, speak no evil and see no evil. The very heavy crystal ball rests on this base. Every angle there is a different viewing experience. circa 1960-70.
Good overall condition with no visible major scratches, cracks, chips or dings. Minor cosmetic wear due to the crystal ball. The bronze base is structurally sound and sturdy with some verdi gris patina and oxidation due to age (see photos). Lovingly cared for.
The ball measures approximately 8" diameter and when resting on the stand approximately 9.5" high.
