ANTIQUE IRISH GEORGE III MAHOGANY TWO-LEAF FIRE SCREEN, CIRCA 1770, set with 19th century needlework panels, the frame raised on turned supports and stretchers. 115cm high x 52cm wide x 2cm deep. Provenance: Has been on loan to English National Trust since 1939. Original 19th Century needlework showing expected signs of age (please refer to photos). Mahogany frame in very good condition commensurate of age.
