About the Item
Black screen designed by Massimo Morozzi for Mazzei in 1986. Made of wood, it is divided into 3 mobile panels connected by metal hinges, which allow ample compositional freedom and effective use in space. The project reflects Morozzi’s experimental language, based on geometries, visual rhythm and attention to the relationship between physical presence and function. The deep black of the finish emphasizes the linear design of the panels, giving the screen a sculptural quality and a strong architectural identity. A significant example of the production of the eighties.
Very good overall condition, with a slight patina consistent with age and use. Provenance: private collection.
