About the Item

Double folding screen by Giacomo Balla for Gavina, Italy, c.1980s. Originally designed in 1917, this piece was produced as part of a limited re-edition by Gavina, celebrating early 20th-century Italian Futurism. The screen features silkscreen-printed designs on wood panels, connected with brass hardware. Each panel varies in height from 165 to 200 cm, forming a dynamic, sculptural presence. Balla’s graphic composition reflects his exploration of movement and abstraction, central themes of the Futurist movement. A rare and striking decorative object that also functions as a room divider.
