About the Item

Beautiful Hand Embroidered Arts and Crafts Era Folding Screen, American, circa 1910s. The embroidered design depicts a flower filled meadow with swallows flying through the air. This design is attributed to Matthew Andrew Daly, who designed numerous pieces of furniture, artwork, and most famously his pottery designs for Rookwood, all featuring flowers and swallows. The screen is constructed of oak and beveled glass with hand embroidered fabric.
