A French large-sized, hand-painted folding screen or room divider, from the 19th century. This antique accordion style folding screen from France features six tall paneled sections with nicely arched top-rails, connected with hinges, giving this piece a height just over 5.5 feet, and approximately 12.25 feet wide when fully stretched. Each of the framed sections are covered in a hand painted fabric stretched on frames, depicting young boys at play and with various musical instruments, within a lovely landscape setting.
