A Rare and Very Special Late 19th Century Louis XVI Style Giltwood and Aubusson Tapestry Three Panel Floor Screen The rectangular shaped wonderful quality woven panel screen still has its original vivid colors. One panel with a Faun playing hand cymbals and depicting mythology, another with a child gathering wheat symbolizing farming and the last with a putti playing a feral flute representing music. Each figure surrounded by many designs, including animals, fruits, instruments, flowers, trophies, etc, the back covered in silk. All within a finely twisted carved rope giltwood frame.
