The Fire guard is a superb quality piece, it is Square in shape with curved corners and a carrying handle to the top. The frame is very decorative ormolu and it has a fine mesh screen incorporated to stop any damage to the area surrounding the fire
The style is typical French Rococo with swirls and shells and a bagpipe and quiver motif in the centre, it stands on 4 splayed deer’s hoof feet, with the winter looming over us this one is just in time to be put to work
The Fire Guard is 30” high, 29” wide and 10” deep
