Rare 1930s Finnigan’s of London Cognac Leather Suitcase – Red and Gilt Interior
This exceptional 1930s leather suitcase by Finnigan’s of London captures the golden age of travel with unmistakable Art Deco sophistication. Crafted in supple, high-quality cognac leather, the case has developed a rich, nuanced patina that only decades of graceful aging can provide — a visual and tactile reminder of a more elegant era of transatlantic voyages and first-class rail compartments.
The suitcase features a sturdy leather-wrapped handle and original Secure Lever locks marked “Made in England.” The handle, while showing some signs of use and minor loss, remains stable and fully functional.
