The colorful paint is all original on this beautiful flat top trunk. Flowers were a traditional embellishment as seen on the front of this handcrafted trunk with red, orange, green, yellow floral details. This trunk has original iron side handles and rests on raised feet. Note photo of interior that reveals a small box to store smaller personal items. Restored, strong and stable, this pine trunk is ready to be used and enjoyed. Wax finish. No lock nor key. All scratches, cracks (see top), nicks, dings, stains (see top) and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this chest.
