About the Item
We have two hand carved and painted wood dowry chests from Bali. Included are contemporary hand made rustic stands appropriately matching the workmanship and style of the chests. Elevating the height of these pieces allows multiple uses. I think they would make handsome end tables, nightstands or even 2 small coffee tables. From use and history the hinges have been changed, locks missing. Beautiful patina and old world charm.
