Period of manufacture: around 1950.
Black, thick, soft velvet (probably cotton) with beautiful British stripes in red, green, beige, brown
blue.
The case
handle are made of black leather.
Brass hardware.
The buckles inside say: ‘'Bon Voyage’'.
Inside a beige/slightly golden shimmering fabric cover was used.
The leather straps inside with press studs (‘'NEWEY ENGLAND’') must have held something once.
Absolutely high-quality workmanship, elegant design
