We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning, circa 1900 hand painted Romanian clothes trunk or marriage coffer chest depicting Children's portraits and floral paintings
I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks, I have around 15 wardrobes and 20 trunks in total, each one totally different, this sale is for the piece listed above with all others being listed under my other items
This one is a good looking well made and collectable piece, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, this one as mentioned shows paintings of flowers with pictures of children to the front
Condition wise this chest has all the original paint, finish and hardwear, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe
