Just in, this exquisite English Campaign Walnut Travel Lap Desk on Stand.
This English lap traveling desk in in very good antique condition considering the age and use.
It is from the late 19th. c.
Rising on a brass stand with straight legs when not in use.
The inside is fitted with Secret compartment and for storage of documents and a lock with key.
The hardware is original to the piece and very good condition, it opens flat and the compartments are under the velvet desk.
Solidly constructed beautiful hinges that reflects the quality of craftsmanship.
Very good antique condition, consistent with age and use.
