French Antique Steamer Trunk Suitcase
A sturdy Steamer Trunk / Travelling Suitcase that features reinforced corner brackets and leather-bound edges.
It is covered in a light cream canvas on all sides.
On top are two working catches, a nameplate and a leather handle.
Inside on the left is a set of wooden coat hangers with the stamp Crochet J Breveté. The hangers slide out on extending chrome rails.
To the right are two separate compartments that have divisions within and that close with studded fasteners.
The inside is full lined with a fabric design of the period.
This charming trunk / suitcase is in reasonably good condition with some marks in keeping with its age.
